Evergreen plant to 3 metres with beautiful red young leaves. It requires good fertile ground with a little shelter to do well and it requires regular clipping when young to form bushy plants. Not for the amateur, with the right management and growing conditions it makes an impressive hedge. Space at 2 plants per metre.
