Elaeagnus Ebbingei

Latin Name: Elaeagnus Ebbingei

An excellent coastal hedge (literally on the coast) which will grow in poor sandy soils and can reach a height of 2.5 metres. The sea green glossy leaves are silver underneath.White flowers in the autumn are not conspicuous. Space plants at half metre centres. Compacta is a well behaved and compact shrub making it easy to maintain as a tidy hedge.
