Product Description

A good choice as part of wildlife friendly hedge, it produces spherical 4-lobed clustered red fruit called spindles. The green leaves turn red in autumn and the green shoots are distinctive. Will grow to 2.5 metres and is tolerant of shade and drought. (Gaeilge : Feoras. Used to make spinles for the spinning wheels of ancient Ireland.)
