Product Description

A large fast growing evergreen native tree, it is tolerant of acidic conditions but prefers well drained soil. The timber, red deal, is used to make railway sleepers and poles. It can stand in high wind and supports a wide variety of wildlife. Scots pine seeds are the preferred food of the red squirrel. (Gaeilge : Peine albanach.
